Where is UK Pride 2018?
We are delighted to announce that UK Pride 2018 - the official celebration of the UK’s LGBTQ+ community, will be held here on the Isle of Wight. The festival will coincide with the island’s second ever gay pride celebration; Isle of Wight Pride 2018. This announcement follows a spirited campaign by Isle of Wight Pride, which brought together the whole community. The Needles, Isle of Wight Festival, Visit Isle of Wight and everyone from the High Sheriff to our Lord Lieutenant and new MP Bob Seely voiced their support for the event.
When is Isle of Wight Pride 2018?
The main event will be held on Saturday 21st July 2018, but activities are already taking place to support the festival, from a Winter Gala this November, to a boat party in May. You can visit the island at any time and enjoy a whole host of activities, from a boat trip round the Needles to visiting the boutique shops, museums and galleries in Ryde.
